Folie - Hannibal pen drawing

A new Hannibal project amidst my old and/or intented drawings, the longest straight-run drawing I've ever done, 12 hours with a few breaks. It seems like I'm attempting to break personal records with Hannibal drawings. Calling the drawing Folie à Deux when there's 3 characters isn't really good sounding (I don't like trois either) so I decided to stay at Folie.

Alana was the first to be inked, and though I had intented to create a dripping effect, I only did that on her face because I ruined it and therefore it worked really well for me and established the effect for the drawing. Some inspired interpretations can see it like a blinding symbology of sorts since she doesn't see Will is innocent and Hannibal is not, but that's free reading into the fact I tried to mask a mistake. She took 2,5 hours more or less, sketch and inking.

As for Will, I am extremely proud. He took me over 4 hours, 2 hours just sketching and I was scared he'd be ruined, but I think he looks really like Hugh Dancy and I never thought he would.

As for Hannibal... I think I need to draw a hundred portraits of Mads Mikkelsen to be able to understand his facial complexion (I'm only on my third attempt so I'm a long way to go), it's so unreal and difficult. I was falling into despair during sketch and I had to simply give up and ink whatever I had. Even with pen doing miracles to my poor sketching, 1AM after nearly nine hours of drawing is still 1AM after nine hours and I was running desperate so I jumped with joy when his face became recognizable around 2AM. The dripped side of the face was done at 3AM so it's not so good. He took nearly 2 hours of sketch and 3 hours inking. I owe big thanks to my mother for directing me towards a better ressemblance of features and she did that by memory without looking at my reference.

Btw I need to mention that awesome viper-strike of season 2 episode 4. My first thought was vampire-speed, so add the two. Just awesome
