Description
Finished piece:
Original photo belongs to [link] who kindly allowed me to draw it.
I scanned the first early stages to show the contrast between pencil sketch and pen filling. It took me a lot of time to get the sketch right, I didn't feel I was getting his features right. In the scanned version you can already see the waves in the black ink, so now imagine those spreading all over his hair, torso and pants. That's how the finished scan version was, so I decided to remain with a photo.
It was quite nice to fill the dark contrasted parts, and I enjoyed this drawing quite a lot. I wanted to finish it last sunday, but when I want to do something in such a small amount of time, I tend to don't do it after I work 7 hours in it with breaks.
The background was filled during the week, just 30 minutes each time and I was extremely lazy.
I suppose I already said enough about the process of making it in the finished piece.
